Identifying the type of colour can be very difficult, but with Just Color Picker, you can get the exact colour value of any pixel.
This simple program works quickly, and is very useful. When it's open, just point your mouse anywhere on the screen and you'll be informed about the colour of the pixel. The 3x/9x/15x zoom really helps you pinpoint things specifically instead of generally. You can get the colour value in five formats: HTML, RGB, HEX, HSB/HSV, and HSL. If you require the code of this program to be copied in part or full, it can be done. Copy the same with a single button click onto your clipboard. Just Color Picker can even remember the history of all chosen colours. Just copy the value you want and use it in your graphic work when the need arises. There are RGB and RYB colour wheels and colour mixer.
Just Color Picker also includes one more useful tool. With this feature you can easily pick harmonious colours, for example, for your web site. Just choose your favourite colour and the colour picker will find the best colours harmoniously matched with yours.

If you have 20—30 minutes of free time, you can translate Just Color Picker's interface to your native language to make it better for people in your country. It already has Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish interfaces at this moment. I would be glad to add any other languages.
To translate the interface, you need to download the zip-archive with language text file and translate the words and sentences after the "=" signs in each line. After that, save the text file as ANSI, and send it to me in attachment to the e-mail address at the Contacts page.
If you have more time and wish, you can also translate Just Color Picker user's manual (zipped RTF-file), correct the existing translations or write your own text for the user's manual. The program has English, German, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish user's manual at the moment.

These are different names of the same Color Picker created by the same person. The program changed its name with time as well as new features were added. In 2003—2005 it was TakeColor, in 2005—2007 — Anry Color Picker, and it became Just Color Picker in 2007 along with changing its location to www.annystudio.com.
Just Color Picker recognizes when it is run from a portable device and creates jcpicker.ini file that contains all its settings. It saves you from setting them up every time you use a new computer.
When you run Just Color Picker from your computer's disk, it does not create the settings file. It saves all its settings on that computer, therefore there is no need to create an additional file in this case.
