Overall, it’s a great place to start a family and an awesome place to live. Its proximity to the northern borders of Canada brings about amazing scenic views, although with extreme weather and climate. Amazingly, however, natural calamities such as earthquakes, tsunamis, or cyclones are practically non-existent. Venomous snakes, spiders, etc are also very rare.
Edmonton pays a premium on its festivals all throughout the year, music halls, and malls. The West Edmonton Mall is the biggest mall in the continent. The crime rate (it just has to be stated) may have some room for improvement, but it has shown a significant decrease over the years.
